Should I text this girl?

Texting someone you like to tell them you like them, is really annoying. Boys have done that to me, and the thought is, "why can't you tell me in person?" Just find the right time in school or something, if you text her, she'll be wondering what on earth is going on for ages which might make her annoyed or in a different mood the next day.
