Part-time job for 17 yr old?

I'm currently 17 and i am in great need of a part time job (1st time in job industry), babysitting and dog-sitting don't seem to be working out very well for me and the places i applied to are not replying back. do you have any suggestions of how to approach this situation or any place that will be willing to hire me?
