Hello, I'm trying to start my own Clothing Company. Where I design my own shirts and sell them ...help?

But I need to know the first step. Do I hire like an artist? By equipment? Or the shirts first. I have made my own shirt with the iron-ons. But it's not the same. You know? Stuff that doesn't rip or fade. Can anyone help me? I have really cool ideas that I know people will buy. But I need the first step for my industry. What should my first step be?
